Sharp UP-700: Program Resetting

Normally, you will need a service key to be able to do a program reset on the UP-700.

However, if the customer does not have one, there is a service line that will let you do it with a MA key. See attached.

The service line can be edited by entering SRV mode (PGM2>99999999) or service key > SETTING > SYSTEM PRESET > SRV#926



PROGRAM RESET

1.Turn MA key to PGM2 position

2.Turn terminal off at the side (or at wall plug)

3.Press and Hold the RECEIPT FEED and JOURNAL FEED button

4.Whilst holding the above buttons turn the terminal back on

The terminal should flash up SRV at the top left of the screen

5.Sign on to the till with a staff button

6.Press RECEIPT ON/OFF button

7.Press DECIMAL POINT button to select ‘OFF’

8.Press ENTER
