Manager sign on is part way through refund mode transaction and trying to sign on in sale mode.
Home > Refund Mode > Sign on > manager code > this will either show - amount transactions/items in receipt window or it may show blank (which means they started refunding items and then voided it back to zero > need to then press cash to finalise.
Check it has returned to sales mode (it will say reg or refund at the top of the screen) and they should be able to sign in. If still in refund mode, press home button and sales mode.
