The terminals can be set in two different modes, either pay at table or pay at counter.

  • Pay at counter: This mode is used on terminals that sit next to the counter which will then collect a signal from the counter with the amount due in order for the client to pay. This mode will not require you to have to put in extra details such as table number ect...

  • Pay at table:  This mode will allow staff to carry the card machines out to the table in order for the client to pay. The way that this terminal will collect the data for the amount due is through tapping in the table number.

How to check the mode:

  • Pay At counter :When pressing F4 on the card machines, if it prompts you to enter the supervisor code then you are in pay at counter mode
  • Pay at table: While pressing F4, if there is no change in screen then you are in pay at table mode.
