Connecting iPad to Wi-Fi

For long-term Wi-Fi connectivity on the iPad, it is best practice to add the Wi-Fi network via the MDM instead of the iPad directly

Note: iPad must be connected to the internet for this to apply

If the iPad is offline then connect via the iPad first

1. on Mosyle MDM, select the Management tab

2. Select WiFi Authentication

3. Select Add new network

4. Fill in the details of the network you would like to connect to

Notes:

- If the network SSID is hidden ensure that Hidden Network is ticked

- Ensure the SSID is entered correctly (Case Sensitive)

- Ensure Security Type is correct (Most networks will be WPA2 Personal)

5. Within Profile Assignment, assign the profile to the relevant device, device group etc
