HP Print Smart App - .NET 4.8 Required Error

Uninstalling HP Printer App

1. Using 'add or remove programs' within settings, uninstall the HP Smart app and/or any other apps you see that are HP Branded

(As this is a Windows store app, it will not show within control panel)

2. Open Task Manager and go to the details tab

3. Type "HP" on your keyboard which will scroll down to the HP app instance running

4. Right-click this and select Open File Location

5. Shift-Delete the folder containing this app within program files

You will be prompted that the files are in-use, when you are close the app within the task manager window you have opened

If you close before deleting, the app will open back up

Disabling Auto Setup of Network Devices

Not needed, but might be a good idea to change anyway

1. Open Network and Sharing Centre

2. Select Change advance sharing settings along the left hand side

3. Ensure that the expanded profile is the profile that is currently active on the network

Will state "(Current Profile)" next to the profile type

4. Un-Check "Turn on automatic setup of network-connected devices"
