Start Menu & Taskbar Settings

Settings below are to limit/hide options within the Windows start menu

It's not important to this, just something I think it would be worth doing as we go more and more web based stuff at sites

Note: These steps are for Windows 10

Hiding functions within Start Menu

1. Within the Start Menu type 'Start' Select Start Settings

2. Set All Toggles to Off

3. Select Choose which folders appear on start

4. Set everything to off APART from Settings

Pinning Applications to Start Menu

TeamViewer Host

Quickest way, Type TeamViewer within start menu and right-click pin to start

TouchPoint

With TouchPoint, ideally we want the pin to say "POS" instead of "Boxes32"

- Create a shortcut for Boxes32.exe within the start menu folder

(C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs)

On-Screen Keyboard

For when the touch keyboard button on the taskbar inevitably doesn't work

Type on screen keyboard within start menu and right-click pin to start

Start menu should look like the below:

Touch Keyboard on Taskbar

Right-click a blank space on the taskbar

Select 'Show Touch Keyboard Button' to it is ticked

A touch keyboard button will now appear in the bottom right corner
