ICRCom receiving and sending

Receiving and configuring ICRCom:

1. Copy the ICRCom folder from another install and open the ICR_COMM.ini file and at the bottom change the IP address to the IP address of the till/computer you want the settings to change on.

2. Hold down shift and right click the program folder and select open command window here

3. Type in "w_icrcom r plu.csv 1" in the command prompt that opens

4. Open the excel document that has the yellow and red row and copy this row

5. paste into the plu.csv that was created earlier and save as a xlsx file

6. Clear out the PLUs, pricing and list PLUs in to rows and then drag down to the bottom to clear these on all rows

7. add in the correct PLUs, pricing etc needed for the till that you are going to send this to

This document does not include steps on importing text to prevent pricing fuckups


Sending ICRCom to a till:

1. Make sure the excel is saved and is up to date.

2. Delete the yellow and red row and then save as a csv file but make sure it is the normal csv file and not the UTF one



3. Hold shift and right click the program folder and select open command window here

4. In the command window type in "icr_com s 'name of csv file'.csv 1"

5. When this is finished check the PLUs in program mode on the till
