Setting up a tablet with PocketTouch

On the tablet:

1.When tablet is on login into the support@ebm-ltd.co.uk google account password: Broadband2

2.Go to the icrtouch forum and login

3.Click on the downloads button and download the latest pockettouch portrait

4.Before you can install the program you need to allow installs from unknown sources in the security section in the tablet’s settings

5.Open the program when it is installed and tap on the config button, then tap config, then tap on system config

6.Under the check master enter the IP address of the till that you want to connect to



On The Till:

1.Install the AutoExtProgGrps etal script onto the till https://forum.icrtouch.com/files/file/377-auto-update-external-product-groups/

2.Go to program mode then all prog then etal

3.Find AutoExtProgGrps and tap it

4.From here you can change the settings of the script, for example you can change the starting and ending menu levels that are sent to the tablet

5.You also need to go to program mode then all prog, system programming and then system configuration

6.Then scroll down to the bottom where there is a setting called Enable EHP Server toggle this to YES



Troubleshooting:

1.) check for updates on the till by going to program mode, PGM 5 System, check for update

2.) download etal libraries from https://forum.icrtouch.com/files/file/151-libraries/ and paste them in C:\ICRTouch\Etal\lib

3.) create inbound and outbound rules in the firewall for the port 9980
