Moving Rental Licence

Guide showing how to move an active rental licence from one terminal to another

1. Make note of rental licence number of old terminal

2. Close down TouchPoint on old terminal

3. From the ICRTouch Portal reset the rental licence

Resetting rental licence from ICRTouch Portal

3a. Click on Rental Licences along left hand side

3b. Using Search type in the rental licence number you are going to be moving and click on the licence number

3c. Click on Reset Licence to reset that licence

4. Open TouchPoint on new terminal in DEMO mode (no network.buf file)

Wait until the till establishes connection with TOW
Cloud indicator changes to OK instead of Not Started

5. Program Mode -> 88888888 -> Check Rental Codes

6. Close down TouchPoint on new terminal

7. Copy network.buf file that was in use on the old terminal

Note: You must use the network.buf file that was in use on the old terminal, rather activating licence again through TouchPoint

Contact ICR if cannot get network.buf file

8. Paste network.buf file in new terminal

8. Open TouchPoint on new terminal

9. As soon as it opens, Program Mode -> 88888888 -> Refresh Rental Licence

10. Restart TouchPoint on new terminal

Keep TouchPoint open for at least 10 mins in-case of licence errors
