Imaging a new drive

Here I have listed steps on how to imagine a new drive with an image that already exists.


There may be instances where you will need to a image a drive in order so that you can then insert the drive into a new till and it will have all the necessary application already installed.


Steps on imagine a new drive:


1. Hook up the new drive to your PC using the SATA to USB cable connector.

2. Open Macrium on your pc 

3. Select "Image this disk" on the middle of the main screen on the application 

4. Another window will then open up. make sure to tick every running drive on your computer within that screen.

5. On the bottom section of that window, select the file path of the disk image that you are selecting to be imported on the new drive.

6. Press on next once the image is selected and it will start to image the new drive.
