Setting up TOW accounts and connecting till

Once there is a new site that we have set up a new till for, your next step will then be to create a new TOW account and export all the data that you have imputed into the till over to the touch office in order so that all the data is up to date. 

  • The first step will have to be creating a new account for touch office and ICR tillconfig. Once that is done you will want to log into the ICR till config account and create a new site on there by going into “OfficeWeb”  and “View sites” should appear as an option on your screen. Once you have opened up all the sites here you will be given the option to “Add new site” 
  • Go on to adding in all the credentials accordingly to the site that you are assisting and their details and make sure to then save their details. ( The details imputed into the new site should match the ones from the head office which can be found on the view site screen.)
  • Your next step is to then enter the TAC key into your till which can be found on the home screen under “terminal access key”. ( It is very important to restart the till once the TAC key has been entered. 
  • Now that the TAC key has been entered, you will then want to enter the TOW using the same credentials for the till config. Click on admin at the top right of the screen and enter the settings and ensure that all the boxes are ticked under the correct site name. 
  • In touch office on the bottom left side of the screen there is a “Terminals” option where you are going to select the site you are looking to assist and add the terminals meaning that you are now going to add the till you have configured onto the TOW.
  • Now that you have added the terminal onto TOW, you will want to collect all the data you have imputed into the till prior to these steps and import them into the TOW in order so that all that data can match and by synced as well as not having to re wite everything up so that it can allow you to add or remove items in the future. This process is also done under the terminals options however this time you will want to make sure you have head office selected the click on collect program and select the site you are looking to collect the data from.  Press submit and all the data should go green on your screen once they have all been collected and ready to go. 





When adding a new till onto a TOW account, it is important to note that you DON'T need to licence the till as well. 


Once till has been connected, in order for you to run reports, make sure to collect the till program. 


A way of checking if the till has been connected, run some sales and check to see if they have been recorded.
