Terminal Access Key

Created by Alex Schipor, Modified on Tue, 15 Oct, 2024 at 5:00 PM by Barney Nagy

The terminal access key is a password that is found in system programming under system configuration. This is what it allows the till that is currently being used to send data down to the back office. This means records and reports will be sent to the back office unless TAK is changed or removed. In order to remove or change the TAK you will have to:

  • Enter programming mode
  • All prog (3)
  • System programming (2)
  • System configuration (10)
  • Change access key.
