1. Go onto touch office web and login
2. On the left hand side of the screen there is a programming button, click that and then click on transaction keys.
3. Then select a spare slot (for example TRN 10) for the discount to go into
4. Set the descriptor to the name that you want the discount to have
5. If the discount is a percentage off a product then you would set the key type to -%
6. Set the preset % to the percentage that you want the discount to take off of a product but with two zeros on the end. For example a 30% discount you would enter 3000 as the value
7. Tick the not allowed after item to make sure that the discount only applies to the subtotal
8. If you want the discount to only apply to drinks then you would tick the applies to selective itemiser 1, if you only wanted it to apply to food then you would tick the applies to selective itemiser 2. tick both boxes if you want it to apply to all products.
