What are status keys used for?
Most commonly, status keys are used as menu level shift buttons which allow the used to jump from one menu level to the other meaning that any button on a till that has been named after a menu level is most likely a status key. However, status keys have other functions, all the functions can be found when creating or editing the status key under the "Key Type" drop down section as seen in the image below.
All the menu level shift status key will always be found at the bottom of the menu levels as seen in the image below.
